Warranty Service Procedure

• Instruments experiencing malfunction within the applicable warranty period must be returned to NMI in accordance with established Return and Repair Procedures.

• All returned instruments are subject to diagnostic testing to determine the cause of malfunction.

• Upon determination that the malfunction occurred under Normal Use, NMI will repair or replace the instrument at no charge.

General Warranty Terms

• Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise stated in writing by NMI.

• Optional extended warranty coverage must be purchased at the time of initial instrument purchase and cannot be added retroactively.

• Warranty does not cover cosmetic wear or damage resulting from unauthorized modification or service.

Like or Equal Value

For purposes of this warranty, “like or equal value” means a product that, as determined by Neuromechanical Innovations (“NMI”):

• Performs the same primary function as the original product;

• Provides equivalent or improved clinical capability, operational performance, and reliability;

• Is substantially similar in intended use and professional application; and

• Has a retail value equal to or greater than the original product at the time of replacement.

A replacement product may differ in model, version, appearance, or internal components, including being a newer generation or updated design, provided it meets or exceeds the functional performance of the original product.
